The only campground in Denali that allows private vehicles beyond Mile 15. Teklanika offers an extraordinary Alaskan wilderness experience with unfiltered views of Mt. Denali (weather permitting), grizzly bears, caribou, wolves, and Dall sheep in their natural habitat.

Directions & How to Get There

From Anchorage: Take AK-1 N and AK-3 N (George Parks Highway) approximately 240 miles to Denali National Park entrance. The park entrance is at Mile 237 of the Parks Highway. From Fairbanks: Take AK-3 S approximately 125 miles. Teklanika is at Mile 29 of the park road — accessible by private vehicle with a minimum 3-night reservation.
