About Elk Prairie Campground — Redwood National Park
Camp beneath some of the tallest living things on Earth. Elk Prairie sits in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park,
surrounded by old-growth coast redwoods that tower over 350 feet. Roosevelt elk graze openly in the meadow
adjacent to camp — sometimes dozens at a time.

Directions & How to Get There
From San Francisco: Take US-101 N approximately 6 hours (300 miles). Exit at Orick and follow Newton B. Drury
Scenic Parkway N approximately 7 miles to campground. From Portland, OR: Take I-5 S to US-101 S approximately 4
hours.
